Success Story: New Senior-Friendly Food Pantry at Cambridge Square, Greenwood

Recently Cambridge Square Apartments of Greenwood utilized the EAT Coalition’s guide to starting up a Senior-Friendly Food Pantry. Here is their success story:
“I have an exciting update to share with you. This past Friday, we hosted our first food pantry/distribution here at Cambridge Square Greenwood! Johnson County Senior Services graciously stocked our pantry; there is no way we could have done it without them. 22 residents attended the pantry, and a few additional residents were taken food via a designated proxy. Residents were grateful for the food and the ability to access the pantry despite transportation barriers. Thank you for the time and energy you invested in our pantry. Your guidance was very helpful and definitely paid off!”
